People of Mariupol, let us join forces to support the front line! We need your help to make trench candles!

Trench candles are not a trifle. They warm soldiers in the cold, help them cook food and dry their clothes. It is a simple but crucial way to support those who defend us.

Mariupol residents have already made 5,700 trench candles for soldiers on the front line. And we are not stopping: each new candle is another opportunity to help our defenders in the most difficult conditions.

Join the effort
To keep this project going, we really need tin cans. They are used to make every new candle. You can bring them to the "I'Mariupol" centres in your city.

Requirements for tin cans:
-high sides
-clean and washed
-no paper labels or paint
-no sharp edges to prevent injury to the craftswomen

Every tin you bring is a contribution to supporting the front line. Join us in making candles or help us with materials. Together, we can do more for those currently defending Ukraine.

As a reminder, the activities of the "I'Mariupol" centres and the Mariupol City Council  in the area of veteran policy are part of the overall "Power Place" project, which covers active military personnel, veterans, their families, as well as the families of those killed, captured and missing.
