Mariupol residents in Cherkasy: uniting to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The "I'Mariupol" centre has been working in Cherkasy for the third year in a row. On this occasion, people not only got together but also organised a charity fair to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The tables offered homemade pastries and delicacies, hot and cold drinks. Nearby, there were handmade products: toys, jewellery, crockery and decorative items. The holiday atmosphere combined a sense of home with an important mission of helping our defenders.
According to official reports, over 1,000 people from Mariupol are currently living in Cherkasy. The fair was also attended by residents and guests of Cherkasy. Along with the community, representatives of the city authorities also took part in the event.
"On behalf of the Mayor, I would like to congratulate you on this date. We will never stand aside and are always ready to help. You are doing well to unite, as no one knows the pain you have suffered. Only together is it easier to survive these dark times," said Marina Garkava, Deputy Mayor of Cherkasy.
This event showed that Mariupol residents in different parts of Ukraine not only stick together, but also actively join charity initiatives to support those who bring the Victory closer. Together we are strong, together we are unbreakable!
