"I'Mariupol" centers to be supported by Rinat Akhmetov Foundation for 2024
Mayor of Mariupol Vadym Boichenko signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Rinat Akhmetov Foundation. This guarantees continued support for Mariupol families through the I'Mariupol centres in the humanitarian and psychological areas. In particular, in the distribution of food and hygiene kits.
For almost two years, the Foundation has handed over 80,000 food and 40,000 hygiene kits, as well as 20,000 sweet sets for children.
"Soon it will be two years since our I'Mariupol comprehensive support centres have been operating. And there are donors who have been with us from the very first days to the present day. The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation is a reliable partner that always comes to the rescue on time," said Vadym Boichenko.
"It is a great opportunity for us to confirm our readiness to be a humanitarian partner next year. In terms of food, hygiene kits and other initiatives that will arise," said Nataliia Yemchenko, Director of Communications at SCM.
The Foundation ensures quality control of products at all stages of humanitarian aid - all of them are confirmed by quality certificates and have the shelf life reserve.
Just like this year, this systematic assistance from Rinat Akhmetov Foundation will enable Mariupol evacuated families to save money and redistribute it to other priority needs.
"Every time when I receive humanitarian aid, I thank I’Mariupol Centre and Rinat Akhmetov for the food parcels. They contain canned meat and cereals, pasta and other essential products, which helps us save our family budget," says Mariupol resident Olha from Odesa.
