35 families from Mariupol received social housing in Dnipro

Today, another 35 families from Mariupol received social housing in Dnipro, among them families of military personnel, prisoners of war, multi-child families, people with disabilities and pensioners.

The social housing consists of 5 buildings with 192 studio apartments, 9 of which are for people with disabilities. The complex has common areas, rooms for work, sports and recreation.

Over 1,300 Mariupol residents have already been provided with social housing. 3 more facilities for over 700 people are currently in the implementation phase. We also have systematic support from the government in scaling up such initiatives. In particular, we are getting ready for construction of a modern residential neighbourhood for Mariupol residents in Bila Tserkva.

Availability of quality social housing helps people regain stability, feel safe and return to normal life.

I would like to thank our partners who made this project possible: governments of Ukraine and France, International Organisation for Migration, Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regional administrations, Mayor of Dnipro Borys Filatov, Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology and Rinat Akhmetov Foundation.
