I’Mariupol is a support network for internally displaced people from Mariupol throughout Ukraine. Each center provides complex and systemic support that helps them adapt to new circumstances, overcome difficulties and start life from scratch.
Mariupol families receive multifaceted help in one place - in a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Here they are provided:
▪ humanitarian support – from food and hygiene kits;
▪ psychological support, which helps to overcome losses, fears and return to life after the experience;
▪ legal consultations – from document recovery, payment processing to preparation of applications for compensation for destroyed housing;
▪ medical examination: consultations, recommendations and dispensing of medicines if available;
▪ assistance with employment: from searching for vacancies to actually applying for a job, from retraining to professional development;
▪ play spaces where it is possible to leave a child under the supervision of a professional educator for a certain period of time;
▪ organization of leisure for all age groups, which helps to connect, socially adapt and integrate into a new community;
▪ solving individual issues upon request and finding opportunities to provide support.
In addition, thanks to the help of partners, additional support projects are implemented in the centers, which are created at the request of Mariupol residents. In particular, issuing warm winter clothes for children and vitamin complexes for older people.
The centers recreate the atmosphere of Mariupol, so all visitors feel at home. Here, Mariupol residents work for Mariupol residents and do their best to ensure that they receive maximum care and assistance. Cooperation with local and international organizations helps in this and provides additional resources and experience, increasing the quality and effectiveness of support.
All this in a complex brings back to life, unites the people of Mariupol into one big family and forms the basis for the revival of Ukrainian Mariupol.
