Допомога ЗСУ

While we are preparing for the holidays, they are standing strong. Support for our defenders continues

When cities are filled with lights and families are getting ready for the holidays, it is important to remember the key point: we are able to live, make plans, gather around the holiday table, and dream about the future only thanks to those who defend our country every day. That is why support for our defenders does not stop on weekends or holidays.

The "I'Mariupol" centres, as part of the "Veterans" project, continue their work to support active military personnel, veterans and their families. Veterans' Assistants specialists respond promptly to requests and provide help where it is most needed.

In Khmelnytskyi, the "Predator" police unit contacted the "I’Mariupol" centre with a request for help. The soldiers needed folding beds with bedding and camouflage nets. The request was processed quickly, and all the needed items were delivered to the unit. The camouflage nets were woven by hand by volunteers from Mariupol.

In response, the "Predator" unit sent a photo report with words of sincere gratitude. For our team, it is a proof that our joint efforts have real results and bring the victory closer.

We are deeply grateful to our defenders for their endurance, courage, and daily heroism. While we are decorating our homes and preparing for the holidays, they are standing guard for each and every one of us. We bow our heads in respect to those who are giving Ukraine its chance for a peaceful life on its own land.

As a reminder, the activities of the "I'Mariupol" centres and the Mariupol City Council  in the area of veteran policy are part of the overall "Power Place" project, which covers active military personnel, veterans, their families, as well as the families of those killed, captured and missing.
