More than 25 laptops were awarded to educators and hardworking students of Mariupol

Yesterday, together with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ireland to Ukraine, Mr Jonathan Conlon, we handed over 25 laptops to Mariupol educators and hardworking pupils who need support.

20 laptops were handed over to those who excel in their studies, participate and win competitions. Among them are IDPs, children with disabilities, and children of the military who are defending Ukraine, are in captivity or, unfortunately, were killed.

In addition, 5 laptops were handed over to the logopedic and inclusive resource centres, which help children develop and receive additional educational services on the basis of the "I'Mariupol" centres.

"Despite all the difficulties, our children are studying and developing, and it is our duty to support them and create opportunities for high-quality education. We are grateful to the Irish Embassy and the people of Ireland for their help and support of our community!" – Vadym Boichenko, Mayor of Mariupol.
